Asian American Health Fair
With more than 50 exhibitors, 15 speakers,
6 performing groups, and a lot of
volunteers, the second year of Health
Fair brought a great success to raise public
awareness of the Asian American Health
issues. The participants were benefited
by wealth of health and well being
information.

Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group charmed Raleigh and Kernersville
TACAS hosted their 3-day visit. The
twenty six youth gave 5 performances and
charmed the audience with their amazing and
professional level Chinese folk
sports.

Chinese Language School celebrating 30th
Anniversary
TACAS supports the school's promotion of
Chinese Language and culture by donating
$1000. Additionally, the TACAS Board
voted to give a $500 gift to the RCLS library
to purchase more children's books.

2007 Golf Tournament
All 22 participant took to the course with
enthusiasm and shared a good time on a
very hot day. The men's and women's
winners were announced. This event is
expected to generate the interest among the
community.

Spring Picnic and Annual Meeting
More than 300 members and friends gathered
for a great Spring Picnic on Mother's day,
filled with delicious food, fun, music, door
prizes, and dances led by the Rainbow Club.
TACAS Advisory Board conducted the 2007-2008
election. New officers have been
successfully elected.

Youth Group Annual Beach Trip was a great
success
A record-breaking number of beach goers
enjoyed a 4 day trip to Emerald Isle. With all the delicious food, and fun
activities such as scavenger hunts, cooking
contests, sand sculptures, and a dance party, the youths
were sure to have tons of
laughter and will share wonderful memories.

Chinese New Year Festival
TACAS hosted a splendid festival on
February 17. With brilliant
performances, authentic food, exhibitions and
fun games, more than 4,000 people
welcame in the Year of the Board. Thanks
to all our sponsors and supporters and a
wonderful festival team.

New Year Celebration at Nasher Museum of Art
