Youth Symphony performed at Governors Mansion
TACAS Youth Symphony brought the festival
spirit to the annual State Capitol Holiday
Open House event. The Governors Mansion
was beautifully decorated and cheerfully
filled with holiday music. The Symphony
has attended this event for the past five
years

holiday dance party was great
fun!
The celebration of season started with
festive setting, lively music and ,of course,
wonderful people. Both TACAS adults and youth enjoyed a night
of fun, laughter and lots of
dancing.

TACAS has accomplished the great feat of
participating in 2006 Raleigh International
Festival. Many thanks to every one that
participated and made this event a success.

donated $1,000 to NC Raleigh Chinese Language
School TACAS made a generous
donation to NCRCLS to encourage the efforts of
education and promotion of Chinese Language
and Culture. NCRCLS is grateful for the
long-standing support from TACAS. NCRCLS
is celebrating its 30th
anniversary this year.

to all for successful annual spring
picnic
Friends and families had a wonderful
gathering at our Spring Picnic. Everyone
enjoyed the amusing speeches, beautiful choir
singing, along with lobsters, pig pickin and
other delightful food.

Congressional Studies (APAICS) and White House
invite the college students to participate 2006
Internship programs in Washington, DC. Interested, please download

deadlines for White House intern is June 16
for fall application and October 13 for 2007
spring.

01/28/2006: Chinese New Year Festival Recap With
7-hour stage performances, cultural exhibits,
arts, crafts, games, food and educational
films, TACAS welcomes in the Year of Dog.
Special thanks to the planning committee, NAAAP-NC,
300 plus performers/ chaperones, 100 plus
volunteers and 3,000 plus participants.
