gathering at our Spring Picnic. Everyone
enjoyed the amusing speeches, beautiful choir
singing, along with lobsters, pig pickin and
other delightful food.

invite the college students to participate 2006

Edward Tie: a second life A News & Observer
interview with long-time TACAS member Edward Tie. Ed
was one of Raleigh's first Chinese immigrants, came to
America by himself and almost penniless. He was
ostracized as a Chinese and drafted into the Navy during
World War II. Hard work to overcome the
hardships brought him a satisfying second life.
